for some time ive been increasignly fed up and feeling caged in by the confines of THE INTERNET and SOCIALMEDIA. creating art is something that should exist OUTSIDE of capitalism, in my opinion, it shouldnt be a commodity, and yet its impossible to build an artistic community without the internet, or without money, both of which involves selling yr soul to shiny white teeth skin jelly ceo fascistnerds.
& so i bring u…. SCRUBZINE.

kinda like substack itll be a sporadic newsletter of My Thoughts About Things. people can email me their thoughts afterwards, and in the next newsletter, i’ll include them. itll have poetry + short stories + baby zines. curated playlists by people and not algorithms, book reviews & recommendations, and interviews with all kindsa people, from semipopular musicians we find interesting to the people who run our local coffeeshop.
the goal is no onlineness… no watching…
as we hope + plan for a world thats better and safer and forever…looking out for our comrades & having tough conversations & making art & yadda yadda. the point is: real people you know doing stuff
its totally free (all we ask is you pay the postage when its ZineTime) + a free for all. if you wanna send me a poem to put in it, go ahead. weird art and weird opinions…plz do so.
